Getting Started

Hi, 'm Bimal bose an average indian!
i got connected to the Internet on 2005.Before that i knew nothin about it except for just googlin' n browsin'.(what is left? Oh, Downloading, p2p, n' of course blogging).
i made my very 1st blog without knowing what it is, after a few months, 'n thought it to be my own website.

The very next week the Indian govt banned blogging sites in India, saying that there are some blogs out there against India!! Any way it became a big issue 'n all the newspapers n' media were talkin' about blogs 'n the stupid ban the govt issued.

I felt bad that i couldn't view my 'OWN WEBSITE! '. Any way the ban helped me a lot in understanding more about blogs n bloggers.

Any way the govt took away the ban ( ' some day '-i don't know when).

Any way i moved on (hmm...forgot about it)

Then the orkut became a revolution in India !!Every one was in it, 'n still is !!
I was one of the first among my first to sign up. For two weeks it was cool ,the heaven !!
but after that it become, hmm.. uncool! . Within two months almost all of my friends were in it.
but i didn't like it as much as they did!

So i deleted my Orkut account 'n created a myspace account 'n added many Americans,British,..my friends, n' said to my friends at school about the features n' cool looks of myspace ,but no one came to myspace!!

After 2 weeks myspace became utter boring for me (without my actual friends).
Within a month new orkut account,sorryes,etc.. were launched, 'n i was back in the orkut.
I saw new features in it like videos,albums,etc..(like myspace).Cool....-again for a week.

By this time i mastered the computer 'n the web-thanks to the great computer mags available-especially "Digit"-believe me it is the best!!

i made web pages in googlepages.com (3 in a day) n posted Google ads in it !!
'n scraped all my friends in orkut about it 'n asked them to click the ads
that day i yearned 2.5$.
Cool..i thought!! After 4 days i checked again 2.5$.Not even 1 click after that day!!

So i took the alien website!!(alienware.com)'n saved some pics ' download logos,etc.
and used photoshop to edit them and uploaded them to googlepages to make a very cool web page(i still think its cool)'n posted lots of ads in it .
and scraped all my friends (with orkut cute)about it ,again requesting to click on ads.
This time i also clicked them from my house itself .the next morning i checked my account 5.6$
on that single day-Awesome!!i thought . I sat down and started clickin' on them myself ,a lot of times.after a week i casually took my web page . i found no ads in it, the places with ads where now white in colour. horrified i took my AdSense account.

Banned-there it was the end word!!(holly shit-all my hard work went in vain!!)
i felt so sad 'n cursed the Google!!

OK.again moved on!!

One day from orkut i found Blogger.

Click! i remembered my old blog ,searched for it ,but couldn't find it!!
So i read some blogs(For the very first time) that i found in its home page.
Cool..i found them -so i decided to post some blogs
Again , new account, 'n all, i posted a blog with the heading Getting Started!

Ya!! this one!!

Hope i will stick with this!!!
